This gallery has examples of commissions I have already completed, my aim with every pet portrait is to capture the true character of the animal so that instead of another picture of a dog you have a painting of 'your' pet.

This is 'Gemma', a commission for christmas painted from 1 good quality image the client took herself and emailed to me.



This is 'Claude', a delightful Pug with huge amounts of character. I was lucky enough to be able to take my own photographs for this one, he snorted and grunted the whole time, he lapped up the attention.



Two beautiful English pointers, I'm a bit biased as I have two of my own. The challenge here was to show the gentle yet thoughtful characters of this breed, they are noble dogs, I bit highly strung but as faithful a friend as you'd ever find.



This is 'Amber' she is a much loved pet and full of fun, crossbreeds are in my experience usually very intelligent dogs, Amber was no exception.
